Say hi to a once-in-a-lifetime campaign to experience Super Bowl LIII front and center.
NFL On Location is the official hospitality partner of the NFL, known for curating extraordinary experiences for the league’s biggest events. In preparation for Super Bowl LIII, they tapped Motto® to develop a breakthrough campaign that would transcend a typical sports promotion. The result: “53 Reasons” — a bold, idea-led concept built to drive emotional urgency and elevate the brand as the definitive source for unforgettable, bucket-list-worthy NFL experiences.

Challenge
Creating a brand moment worthy of the biggest stage in sports.
While NFL On Location had a premium product, they lacked a campaign narrative powerful enough to match the scale and emotion of the Super Bowl. Audiences didn’t always grasp the full value of a premium hospitality package, and the market was crowded with knockoff ticket brokers and confusion over resale. The challenge: develop a concept that conveyed exclusivity, security, and energy, while rallying diverse customer segments — from corporate buyers to raging fans — around a singular big idea.

Motto® dove into immersive brand planning and research, including audience segmentation analysis, stakeholder workshops, brand audits, and experience recaps. We studied what moved people to purchase: prestige, access, emotion, and once-in-a-lifetime memory-making. These insights revealed a common thread — people weren’t just buying a seat, they were buying a story. We positioned NFL On Location as the Architect of the Impossible, offering an integrated brand experience that redefined premium access.

To bring the campaign to life, we created “53 Reasons” — a compelling idea inspired by Super Bowl LIII (53), framing each NFL On Location experience as one of 53 personal, powerful reasons to attend. Whether it was “Reason #14: You’ve never met a Hall of Famer,” or “Reason #39: Champagne and confetti at your feet,” every message aligned with the brand’s values of authenticity, exclusivity, and immersive magic. This campaign became a magnet for emotional connection and brand storytelling.
