Maisa
Engineering accountable digital workers for the enterprise.
Overview
Building confidence into autonomous enterprise work.
Despite widespread consumer adoption of AI, 95% of enterprise AI projects fail due to a lack of trust or an inability to effectively translate from pilot to production. Maisa solved both problems with autonomous agents capable of accurately executing complex tasks at scale. After raising $25M in Series A funding, Maisa needed a brand that would translate their engineering achievements into enterprise-ready clarity, trust, and credibility and enable confident adoption at scale.

- Category Agentic AI
Autonomous AI has a trust problem.
The constraint on enterprise AI adoption isn’t capability, it’s trust. Human-in-the-loop oversight is inefficient at scale, so widespread use of agentic AI in an enterprise demands a guarantee that it will do its job correctly, every time. In relegated industries like finance and insurance, where compliance is mandated by law and breaches carry severe penalties, AI carries needless risk. To win over enterprise decision-makers, Maisa needed to prove that their digital workers are trustworthy.
/ Immersion
Substance over spectacle.
As Motto® pored over discovery documents, interviewed Maisa’s leadership team, conducted strategy workshops with critical stakeholders, and got to see digital workers in action, we settled on the essential question: how does AI earn the confidence needed for an enterprise to trust AI with mission-critical work.? The answer inspired our brand strategy.
- Brand audit
- Stakeholder interviews
- Strategic workshops
- Competitive positioning
/ Brand Strategy
Real work ready.
When you can see AI’s input and output but nothing in between, you have to move forward on faith. That’s a dealbreaker when accuracy matters and compliance is mandated. Unlike other agents, digital workers build in transparency and traceability with a full audit trail. You can see every decision and verify every step. Our Idea Worth Rallying Around® positioned Maisa as autonomous AI that’s Real Work Ready. Finally, digital workers can be trusted with complex work of real consequence, risk-free.

Channeling confidence.
As the Ruler archetype, Maisa’s voice needed to signal structure, stability, and high standards and define what “real work” means. We crafted it around three voice pillars: Direct, Accessible, and Confident. Lines like, “Real work, done right.” and “Finally, autonomy meets certainty.” convey clear benefits in plain language that gets to the point. To address the value of reliability, we penned lines like, “Digital workers prove their work, and their worth.”

A Living System of Digital Workers
Motto® built a custom tool that generates icons to represent each unique digital worker in Maisa Studio. Each new variation grows directly out of the core symbol, animating workers as they spin up, organize, and tackle new tasks. By connecting every expression to Maisa’s visual identity, each new composition reinforces that these aren’t abstract AI agents, but autonomous workers designed to be trusted with real work.

Structure in the system.
Maisa’s logomark unites independent prongs in a single system. Each prong represents a specialized digital worker with a specific function, while the overall structure reflects governance, coordination, and human trust. The primary color palette’s Deep Green establishes dependability, with a secondary palette rich enough to generate an infinite number of unique digital workers within the product interface. A serif font conveys intelligence and authority, while the sans serif imparts clarity.
